Updates

Yes yes i haven't blogged in a while (well at least not consistently enough since lazy posts mentioning peculiar events don't really count).
But heres what's been happening recently:

1) Visa issues is settled!!! The gruelling and anxious process of the infamous US visa application is over. What seemed like an extremely nerve wrecking procedure turned out to be an easy pleasent 2 minute interview. The next step to my journey to the states is complete.

2) Street party 6 was over yesterday! We (Tennis clb that is, me the big kahuna) did the same game stall which turned out to be relatively successful; bringing in profits of multiple figures. Biggest hits was, once again, Ms jeanette and Dr. Sia as well as Ms Dot.

3)Laptop and such and such. Ol' Laptops fried. Gone. Kapuutz. That is if i don't pay 1700rm to fix the motherboard and battery. So there we go, i am getting a new laptop. Exciting times my dear!

4)Exercise is important! 300 just basically puts us all to shame with our rolls of drooping skin and oversized bellies. I need to lean up. =(

5)Exercise brings pain and injuries! I am currently suffering from Shin Splints! According to MayoClinic.com

Whether you're running after a soccer ball, jogging around the neighborhood park or training for a marathon, you're at risk of running-related injuries. One of the most common injuries is shin splints (medial tibial stress syndrome). The term "shin splints" refers to pain along the shinbone (tibia) and is common among runners and other athletes.

Symptoms of Shin Splints are soreness and pain at the lower leg (shin) that often appears during the beginning of exercise. Mild sweallnig also occurs.

Causes can be due to poor running form, unsuitable shoes, constant pounding of the foot during sports such as running, walking, tennis and basketball as well as running uphill or downhill and increasing exercise sessions.

Treatments include icing the injured area, during calf and toe exercises, resting and wearing proper shoes. Warming up and regular exercise will prevent any future occurance of this injury.

6) Giant just opened in Nilai. We now have 2 kfcs and a bata shop.

and yes... this post is very colorful indeed.
